Tragic accident kills "ang ku kweh"

SINGAPORE - 7th November 2009

Late this afternoon, after nearly one hour of speculation, the Singaporean coroner confirmed that the caped-crusader only known by her alias "ang ku kweh" had died, apparently after a chronic dislocated shoulder re-dislocated causing her arm to swing at the heroine's face and killed her instantly. Hundreds of fans gathered outside the 23 year-old protagonist Serangoon North apartment, many bringing flowers and gifts to commemorate the passing of their beloved "crime fighting figure".

Many interviewed later commented on how much they would miss their modern day Joan of Arc. “For ang ku kweh to be taken away from us so suddenly at such a young age, I just don’t have the words, you know everyone takes ang ku kweh for granted, I will miss her red costume and her soft green bean filling"

The alias "Ang Ku Kweh" known as red tortoise cakes in Hokkien, is a common breakfast item among Singaporeans. It is one of the common Chinese pastries found in Singapore like Soon Kweh and Beng Kweh, which incidentally the names of Singapore's last two remaining super-heros, both of which were absent from the funeral.

To pay tribute to Singapore's one and only "ang ku kweh", the station will now play a video submitted by one of our viewers in lasting memory of the once brave, outgoing and exciting super-hero.
